Which witch is which

My friend (and conveniently also my neighbor) Katie and I decided to dress up as witches this year. When Conrad asked why a witch I told him that finally my external would match my internal. It was exciting looking for all of the pieces of our outfits together and finding good deals. When the kids saw me Alvin said, "You look really pretty mom." Ethan said, "You look weird. Well not weird just different."
I loved our eyelashes
We had fun until we took the kids trick or treating then we felt a little silly. We decided that next year we'll stick to being boring moms.

Crack kills

I saw this on another blog and thought it was hilariously (and sadly) true. It made me think my kids definitely need more drugs.

Ball and chain

Thomas and Lisa have been a couple for 11 years, they adopted two daughters and bought a house together. It took health insurance to finally make them tie the knot! They were married at the courthouse on October 24th. Shelly said it best when she said, "It was a lighthearted ceremony."

Need a shave?

We have a little motor that Ethan used for his science project last year. I think because of the sound it makes Isaac got the idea to use it as a "shaver". Conrad holds the wires on the battery while Isaac gets rid of unwanted hair. It's cute how intense he gets. Perhaps we have a future barber.

Bi-Zi Farms Part Deux

Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch again! This time with my whole family (except Conrad). It was neat to share in my nephews Gustav, Logan and Jack's first trip to the patch!

Bi-Zi Farms

Alvin, Isaac and I went to the pumpkin patch with our neighbor Katie and her kids. Isaac's favorite things were feeding the goats and going on the hay bale pyramid. Alvin liked riding on the horses best.

When Isaac saw the turkeys he said, "Look at
those fancy birds!"

I had sadness for the poor little ponies, but Alvin
and Isaac loved riding!
