Pool-o-rama

Every year I buy a small swimming pool for the boys to play in. This year in hopes that they'd be entertained for longer periods of time, I bought a big pool. My super cool neighbor, Katie helped me set it up yesterday. They got to try it out this afternoon. They whined all morning to go swimming, and then when they got in they whined about how cold it was. I guess I just can't win!

Nephew's First Birthday

My nephews Jack and Logan turned 1 on Saturday! I let Alvin and Isaac capture the special moments. They took 136 pictures!! The had so much fun, sadly of the 136 pictures only 3 or 4 are memories we'll want to remember :)

A Poet and He Didn't Know It

Today three 5th grade classes went to Barnes and Noble to share the poems they'd written. Isaac and I got to go listen to them read their poems. There were some really cute poems, and as you can see from the picture some good artists too.

I Fell Into Burning Ring of Fire

We bought a fire pit yesterday! It was a cozy 89 degrees, but we had to try it out. The kids roasted hot dogs, and marshmallows for s'mores. Then they cooled off in the sprinkler. We are so lucky to live next door to awesome friends!
